At Whitefield community Primary School we recognise the importance in developing a partnership with parents and involve them actively in their child’s learning. Therefore, the activities children do at home are consistent across school to ensure we have an easy to understand system throughout our school. We expect that our younger Key Stage 1 children to spend 15 minutes to an hour each week on their homework.
Parents can help support their children and the school bu ensuring the following homework is done each week.
In Early Years our children have a Learning Log to support a shared love of learning at home. This is linked to the current topic being taught in class.
